Uploading and Security!
Uploading through ftp or file manager is a simplest way to communicate malware to the remote server.
As you are connecting to the server, malware may find it way to the remote server automatic, or you upload it by yourself using normal uploading techniques without noticing the malware hidden in your files of your local computer. Some are disguising as system files and some as ordinary files. And it is computer program designed to infiltrate and damage computer without your intructions or permission.
To upload your files to the server, you have to scan your system thoroughly with at least two or more antivirus and eset online scanner included. Some antiviruses ware may skip or miss to identify some malware if they don't have the malware defination updates. Using a different antiviruses ware may clean all malware infections.
Note that a malware could caused a serious problem to the server, your site or even hacking. A hacked site could be very dangerous by spamming, spoofing, attack or even phishing e.t.c. and you will be the one to be charged for it as the site user or administrator. Your site could be suspended or terminated for such security threats.
